Martin Feldstein, the esteemed economist, says the elderly are facing a poverty crisis. According to Wells Fargo, 1 in 3 middle-class Americans plan on working into their 80's because they can not afford to retire. Roughly 1 in 2 are not saving for retirement at all. Where are seniors to get more income? In my consultations as a reverse mortgage specialist, that is the #1 concern the elderly have.
